Apple's Buy


A Mumbai based mobile phone retailer has revealed the details of the exchange scheme for Apple's 5C and 4S, even though . has not officially announced any buy-back scheme.


Manish Khatri (Mahesh Telecom) has tweeted that thebuy-back scheme will kick-off today (16 November) and released the names of those devices, which are eligible for the iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S (8GB) exchange.


'Buyback on iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S 8GB LIVE FROM TOMORROW (16 November) (get minimum 13000 on selected models) *condition apply,' his tweet read.


The smartphone eligible for the exchange include- Black Berry Z10, Q10, Nokia Lumia 925, HTC Desire 500, Desire 600, HTC One Mini, HTC One (Dual-SIM), Galaxy Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3, S4 Mini, Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2, Note 3, Xperia C, Xperia ZR, Z, Z1 and Z Ultra. Apple's 2010 model iPhone 4 (8GB and 16GB) is also part of the deal.


Prospective buyers who are ready to part with their old handset can avail this offer and get a discount of about ₹13,000, thereby reducing the MRP (Maximum Price) of the16GB Apple iPhone 5C from 41,800 to ₹28,900. The 32GB variant priced at 53,500 can be grabbed for ₹40,000, whereas iPhone 4S (8GB) which costs ₹31,000 can be bought for ₹18,000.


Earlier in the year, Apple had introduced similar scheme for the iPhone 4 in . The company reaped huge profits and recorded close to 400-percent jump in the revenue.
