Victims had been in a cafe when they were approached by two men who stole their phones
CCTV images of two men police want to speak to in connection with the theft of mobile phones in Maidstone have been released.
Two women reported their phones been stolen as they sat in Café Nero in King Street on January 4.
At about 2.30pm they were approached by two males; one asked to borrow £1 and another asked for a signature on a piece of paper before taking the phones, worth £500 each.
The men are described as both dark, with short dark hair, aged about 20 years old and about 5ft 6in.
One of them was wearing a dark coloured jumper with a red 3 on the back. The other was wearing blue jeans and a black jumper.
